 The power of a parent's tongue👇 A story is told about a young Thomas Edison who came home one day with a paper for his mother. He told her, “My teacher told me to give this paper only to my mother.” Thomas’ mother read the note and her eyes filled with tears. Thomas asked his mother what the note said, and she read aloud, “Your son is a genius. This school is too small for him and doesn’t have enough good teachers for training him. Please teach him yourself.” And that’s exactly what Thomas’ mother did; she home-schooled her child with devotion and dedication.  When all you can see is what you have lost around you, take a look in the mirror, there you will find your greatest resource.  Put affirmations on that mirror to remind yourself if you need to but you are amazing.

 Mental Health Monday! Remember always that there IS someone thinking of you.  Maybe not you directly or personally but someone who realizes that people struggling with mental or physical illness or disability are fighting a war that deserves the love, spirit, and warmth of a million Winnie the Poohs.  I’m one.   Raise your hand if you love someone fighting hard.  Raise your hand if you’re the one fighting.  I’ll always be thinking of these heroes.

 If you accept your flows There is nothing shameful in being wrong, making mistakes. If you accept your flaws, your imperfections, your mistakes then only you can work upon that to grow into a better version of yourself. And that can only happen when you have the courage to accept the truth.

If somebody offers you an amazing opportunity but you are not sure you can do it, say yes – then learn how to do it later! Life is a helluva lot more fun if you say yes rather than no. Respect is how to treat everyone, not just those you want to impress. The brave may not live forever – But the cautious do not live at all. You don't learn to walk by following rules.
